How do I register with Vivamore?
Click on the Join Now link to begin
the two step sign up process. Usernames must be between 5 and 16 characters in length. The characters may not include any special characters, but can include underscores ( _ ). The username may not contain any spaces. Passwords must be between 5 and 12 characters in length. The characters may not include any special characters, but can include underscores ( _ ) and exclamation points ( ! ). The password may not contain any spaces. It is required that you verify your password to ensure that you have not made an error while typing.

How do I sign in?
To sign into Vivamore, you must have a valid username and password. If you have
forgotten your password, or username you can retrieve it by going to the Forgot Password page.
If you know your username and password, type the Username and Password under the
Members section on the lefthand side of the main page. If you haven't joined Vivamore and want to, follow one of the "Join Now" links on the main page, or Click Here to go directly there.

I accidentally signed up as the wrong sex.
If you signed up as a Female and you are a Male, or vice versa, please send an email to customer_service@vivamore.com from the email address you signed up with,and include your username. We will then verify with you through your email address that you do want to change the sex of your profile.

How do I unsubscribe or cancel my membership?
If you want to remove your profile, or cancel your membership on Vivamore, please use the above form to write Customer Service, and we will delete your profile
during the next update.

If I cancel my membership, can I keep my username if I change my mind later?
If you cancel your membership, we delete your profile entirely. All mail, and other saved information is lost. Your username will be available to someone else
to use if it is chosen.

I can't upload a picture, or I get an error when uploading my pictures.
If you are unable to upload a picture, send an email to customer_service@vivamore.com with the picture you want to use as an attachment.

How do I edit a picture with Windows?
If you are running Windows XP, you could resize the picture on your own.
First, make a copy of the picture by right clicking on it, selecting copy, then just move your mouse to another location in the same folder, right click your mouse again, and select paste.
Then you will want to open the picture in a photo editor.
Right click on the copy of the photo, scroll down to "Open With" and select the Microsoft Photo Editor.
Once the picture is open in the photo editor, select "Image" from the top menu, then resize. Change the units to "Pixels" and change the value to less than 650 pixels, and click ok, then select save. You can then try to upload the picture on vivamore again, or send it to us in an email.

What is a primary picture?
A primary picture is the picture you want everyone to see when they perform a search and find your profile. All of your other photos are available to view when members click on the "More Photos" link.

How long does it take to get pictures approved?
After you submit a picture, the Vivamore staff needs to view it to make sure the photo falls within our requirements. This process can take up to a day to approve a single picture, but on average only takes about an hour. If you have any problems uploading a picture, please send it to customer_service@vivamore.com as
an attachment.

How do I update my profile?
If you want to edit your profile, use the "Edit Profile" link on the righthand side of the main page after you login. There is a "My Profile" link which contains all of your basic information such as email address, height, weight, and most of the other selections you made when creating your basic profile.

How long does it take for my profile to be reviewed?
Every profile is reviewed by the Vivamore staff before it is added to the searchable Vivamore database. A Vivamore profile which has not been reviewed will have limited use of all the Vivamore features. Only reviewed members will be able to send mail to other members. The review process can take as long as 24 hours, based on the volume of members who signed up that day.

How do I change my email address?
If you want to edit your profile, use the "Edit Profile" link on the righthand side of the main page after you login. There is a "My Profile" link which contains the current email address associated with your profile.

I do not want to be a Featured Member.
If you don't want to be a featured member, log into Vivamore and go to the "Edit Profile" link on the righthand side of the main page. Click on the "My Profile" link and scroll to the very bottom of the page. Check the checkbox and click update if you do not want to be a featured member.

How do I view my own profile?
From the main page after logging into Vivamore, click on the "View My Profile" from the righthand menu.

What is a contact?
A contact is someone you have found on our site who you would like to remember.
By adding a contact, you add the profile to a list which is available on your main page after signing in, or through the "My Contacts" link on the righthand menu. This allows you to easily find and keep track the profiles you like.

How do I add a contact?
To add a contact, perform one of the Vivamore searches, and view the profile by
clicking on the headline, username, or picture of the member. Below the picture
in the profile is a link called "Add to My Contacts". Click the link to add the profile to your list of contacts.

What is a Block?
A block is someone who you don't want to allow to contact you.

How do I add a block?
To add a block, perform one of the Vivamore searches, and view the profile by clicking on the headline, username, or picture of the member. Below the picture in the profile is a link called "Add to My Blocks". Click the link to add the profile to your list of blocks.

How can I stop receiving mail when someone sends me mail on Vivamore?
Sign into Vivamore, click on the "Edit Profile" link on the righthand menu, click on the My Notification link, select "No" and click update. This will stop all mail notification to your regular email address when you receive a new message
at Vivamore.

How do I change my username?
Send an email to customer_service@vivamore.com and request us to change your user
name. Include your current username, and the username you want.

How do I change my password?
If you want to change your password, use the "Edit Profile" link on the righthand side of the main page after you login. There is a "My Password" link to change your password.

How are emails sent?
Every member of Vivamore has their own mail file, which is only allowed to be used through vivamore. It is not possible to send email to your username@vivamore.com. It is also not possible to use Vivamore's mail system to send mail to external email addresses.

How do I read my email?
If you have new email, there will be a link on the righthand menu which tells you how many new messages you have. To read the messages, click on the "Mail" link on the righthand side which will bring you to your mail inbox. To view a message, click on the subject of the message, or the person who sent you the message

How do I send email?
After logging in, click on the "My Mail" link on the righthand menu. This will
bring you to your inbox. To send a mail, click on the "Compose Mail" link on the righthand menu, or at the top of the page.
Vivamore has it's own internal email system, which will only send mail to other
Vivamore members. It is not necessary to append @vivamore.com to any usernames
when sending mail.

How do I know who I have sent mail to?
Every mail you send is saved in your sent mail. This can be viewed by going to
"Mail" on the righthand menu, and clicking on "Sent Mail".

How do I delete mail, or delete sent mail?
To delete any mail, check the checkbox beside the mail you wish to delete, then
click the Delete button at the top and bottom of your mail.

How much mail can I have saved?
You can have as much save mail as you want. We do not enforce size limitations
on the mail files.

How do I remove a contact?
Go to your contacts page by clicking on the "My Contacts" link under the "Mail link, or directly from your main page. Click the "Remove" link beside the contact you wish to remove from your list.

How do I unblock a member from my list?
Go to your Blocks page by clicking on the "My Blocks" link under the "Mail link.
Click the "Remove" link beside the block you wish to remove from your list.

My Instant Messenger doesn't work.
The instant messenger is a java applet, and requires a java virtual machine be installed on your computer. If you are receiving a gray screen when attempting to access the instant messenger, please go to the following website to make sure you have java installed on your computer.
